Warranty

Janome America, Inc. warrants this Janome sewing machine for a period of 25 years from the date of original purchase against defects in materials or workmanship with the exception of electrical and/or electronic equipment, which is warranted for a period of 2 years from the date of original purchase. During the first year from the date of original purchase, defective parts will be exchanged and labor will be provided free of charge. After the first year and during periods of limited warranty, defective parts will be exchanged free of charge but at the owner's expense for labor. Postage and transportation are also at the owner's expense. For service under this warranty, present your Janome product, warranty card and proof of purchase to the Janome retailer from whom the purchase was made or contact Janome America, Inc., 10 Industrial Ave., Mahwah, NJ 07430-2205.

This sewing machine is warranted only for normal household (non-commercial) use. Needles, belts, bobbins, needle plates, light bulbs, knives, and loopers are not covered. This warranty does not cover failures caused by improper maintenance or repair, abuse, normal wear and tear, misuse, or events beyond the control of Janome America, Inc. This warranty extends only to the consumer who has originally purchased this product from an Authorized Janome Retailer or to a gift recipient as evidenced by proper return of warranty card. Names and addresses of Authorized Janome Retailers are available upon request. Except as stated above, there are no other warranties, expressed or implied. Janome America, Inc. shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages directly or indirectly arising from use or inability to use this product or from any other cause. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the exclusion or limitation may not apply in all cases.

This warranty gives the purchaser specific legal rights. The purchaser may also have other rights that vary from state.

ALL WARRANTIES ONLY APPLY TO BERNINA OR bernette PRODUCTS THAT
• Are within the warranty period.
• Belong to the original purchaser.
• Are damaged due to manufacturer defect.
• Are used for private and non-commercial application only.
• Are not abused or neglected.
• Are maintained according to the maintenance section in the My BERNINA Guide Book, the BERNINA or bernette Operating Manual or
according to the built-in maintenance schedule on selected models.
• Are not damaged due to environmental influences, i.e., flooding, earthquake, lightning, etc.
• BERNINA warranty is only valid in the country where the machine was purchased.

To make the Limited Warranty Contract effective, the completed Limited Warranty Registration Card or online registration has to be in possession of BERNINA of America within 30-days after the date of purchase.
