Each BERNINA sewing machine has a special hook for bobbins and bobbin cases. Different bobbin cases are therefore available, depending on the machine.
Bobbin Work is a technique which uses heavy weight threads in the bobbin for machine stitching and embroidery. The threads and ribbons used will not go through the eye of the needle or get the appropriate tension so they are wound onto the bobbin. This allows for you to get very creative with your thread selection, and use thicker threads to create unique and amazing designs!
